A self-paced course · New

1 If you have never worked in a pharmacy

Get Into Pharmacy

The starting point if you have never worked in a pharmacy in the UK. A self-paced online course built for school leavers, career changers and people about to apply for their first counter job. 10 modules, around 13 hours, at whatever pace suits you.

  • 10 modules. Roles in pharmacy, what medicines actually do, how to talk to customers, safeguarding, and Pharmacy First.
  • Two units of science — the grounding you need before a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, taught from scratch. No science background assumed.
  • Interactive scenarios and quizzes at the end of each module, so you know what’s sticking.
  • A PPets Certificate of Completion when you finish. QR-verifiable, so an employer can check it’s real.
  • Works on any device. Pause whenever, pick up where you left off.

It comes off your course fee. Finish Get Into Pharmacy and go on to enrol with us on the Level 2 or Level 3, and we deduct what you paid for it from your course fee. So if pharmacy turns out to be for you, the course effectively costs you nothing.

Accredited pharmacy qualifications

Regulated qualifications awarded by Open Awards, an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation, and regulated by Ofqual on the Regulated Qualifications Framework — Level 2 is 610/4508/1, Level 3 is 610/4031/9. Delivered online around your shifts with assessment in your own pharmacy, and taught by registered pharmacy technicians. Both are launching at introductory prices for our first intake.

Externally verified by Open Awards, with our assessors observing you in your own pharmacy — so the qualification stands up to real scrutiny.

Completed Get Into Pharmacy first? What you paid for it is deducted from your Level 2 or Level 3 fee.
